Exploration and Production

The Exploration and Production business provides solutions and technological services to assist in the incorporation of reserves and optimal exploitations of reservoirs, to strategically impact in the value chain of the oil industry. It consists of ten business lines with work teams and infrastructure distributed in the various oil zones in Mexico.

Process Engineering

The Process Engineering Business provides design of process, operations and safety; design of equipments and instrumentation and control engineering, for production as well as for industrial plants. It also provides services in: technical assistance and process optimization, technical-economic feasibility studies to develop new installations and to revamp and modernize existing processes in the oil industry. It also supports the supply and addition of chemicals to improve crude oils and the operation of the installations; in addition, it provides services for equipment and material inspection, failure analyses and development of DP systems and software tools.

Project Engineering


The Project Engineering Business provides services for industrial installations, off- and on-shore exploitation, storage and transportation projects to increase and maintain PEMEX’ productivity as well as for the chemical industry projects, through five service lines.

Security and Environment

The Mexican Petroleum Institute’s Safety & Environment Division whose almost 45-year experience on safety and environmental protection, and prevention and attention to eco-systems where industrial activities are carried out, provides solutions to the industry to maintain and increase safety of their workers and installations and to harmonize their activities with the respect and conservation of the environment.
To this end, it has six business lines and a portfolio of 27 specialized services: 19 for the environment and eight for safety focused on meeting the requirements of the oil, petrochemical and chemical industries, all of them designed to add economic value to their business, to be able to get ahead of regulation changes and social demands.

Training

The Training Business consists of timely and profitable solutions through four business lines to design and implement learning and development that will increase the competencies and skills required to improve human performance and business results in the oil industry.
