Intentions and Objectives

Posgrado The Mexican Institute of Petroleum posgraduate has as a first task the development of talent by forming investigators and specialists of excellence, leaders in the innovation for the national oil industry.

The Institute sets out that the graduates when they evolve in society turn themselves into leaders of processes of innovation, able to face the constant challenges of investigation and development, as much of technologies as of useful products for the society.

Objectives:

		To take care of the needs of the oil, petrochemical and chemical industries.
		To promote and to encourage the interrelations between science, technology, innovation and production of goods and services.
		To train scientists and technicians in the edge of knowledge of its area of specialty, with experience in activities of investigation, innovation and development of products, and application of knowledge.
		To integrate the activities and strengths of the Institute to the formative process.
		To use the strengths of the education system of the country and to be a developing factor of it.
